Raymond J. Schildt, age 100, of Seward (NE), was born Oct. 24, 1914 in Malcolm, and died Dec. 17, 2014 in Lincoln. U.S. Army WWII veteran. Farmer. Survived by wife, Lola Schildt of Seward; daughters, Delta (Dan) Kovar of Seward, Margaret (Russell) Krieser of Lincoln, Lana (Randy) Capek of Tobias, and Joan (Orville) Pearson of Seward; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister,Clara Krieser of Seward. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Minnie (Lindner) Schildt; brothers, Martin and Ida Schildt; infant brother, Arthur Schildt; and sister, Selma Murphy.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., the Schildt family will greet friends from 6:30-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19, at Volzke Funeral Home, Seward. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seward. Interment with full military honors: Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery "Middle Creek" Seward.
